A game after the Bucks went with one, very unconventional defense to slow James Harden, the Nuggets had a very different approach, as they have in the previous three meetings.
The Nuggets, as much as any opponent, have gone into games planning to use a variety of defensive strategies against the league's leading scorer, including dropping centers back in the lane to trapping on screens to even double-teaming as he brings the ball up the floor.
"You're always looking at what other teams do when you have success," Nuggets coach Michael Malone said of the Bucks' strategy to stay on Harden's left to force him right and into crowds.
