New York Knicks small forward Cleanthony Early was shot in the leg and robbed after leaving a Queens strip club at about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, the New York Daily News reports.
As he was leaving the strip club in the early morning hours, Early was approached by a group of people wearing ski masks. They robbed Early and shot him in the right knee. According to Daily News sources, Early was with his girlfriend at the time of the robbery.
Early, who is in his second NBA season, is in stable condition.
The Knicks released a statement Wednesday morning.
