The NBA did not like the language used by Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Patrick Beverley in a postgame press conference and on social media after his team's emotional play-in win over the Clippers, so they fined him $30,000 for "egregious use of profanity" Thursday.
In the press conference, Beverley, when asked what he was yelling at the Clippers and their owner Steve Ballmer late in the game, said he told his former teammates to, "Take their ass home; get on that flight to L.A. Take y'all ass home. It's deeper than that to me.
