The NBA has rescinded a double technical called on Rockets center Nenê and Warriors forward Draymond Green and during Tuesday’s 115-109 win over Houston in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals at Oracle Arena, the San Francisco Chronicle has confirmed.
The league’s decision puts Green’s technical-foul total for the postseason at three instead of four. Per NBA rules, a player is automatically suspended one game once he picks up his seventh technical in the playoffs.
After Rockets guard James Harden attempted a foul shot with 1.3 seconds left in the third quarter Tuesday, Nenê wrapped his left arm around Green’s right shoulder, prompting Green to turn and confront Nenê face-to-face.
