If the National Basketball Referees Association had its way, there would be no official second-guessing of NBA officials' calls.
The NBRA, which represents NBA officials, on Tuesday called for the abolition of the league's "Last Two Minutes Report."
Those reports are issued the following day for all games that are within five points at the two-minute mark of regulation (and overtime, when applicable). The plays that are reviewed include all calls that result in a whistle and notable non-calls.
During the 2016 playoffs, there have been 27 such reports issued. The most notable followed Game 2 of the Thunder/Spurs Western Conference semifinal.
