This week my NBA Power Ranking list offers more of the same at the top and isolates some interesting trends that have been percolating since opening day.
After 4 weeks the NBA Power Ranking lists reflect three trends: parity in the league, coaches taking center stage and team turmoil existing on Western teams expected to vie for the title.
In terms of the parity in the league it’s the first time in years fans have witnessed the East showing signs of closing the gap of the West’s domination. At the start of week 5 the East actually hold a 37-32 advantage in the win-loss column.
