This week my NBA Power Ranking list finds three expected preseason favorites performing up to expectations.
Other than the top ranked Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs many favorites find themselves languishing in the cellar. Conversely some surprising underdogs have shocked by continuing to perform above expectations and subsequently have climbed the ladder.
While every November there is a shuffling of teams as they establish their identity and style of play it’s difficult to determine if these surprises are a result of roster improvements, early strength or weakness of schedules or if injuries are dictating the changes.
