Mike D'Antoni utilizing Montrezl Harrell as a 'jolt of energy' for Rockets

Though Montrezl Harrell, the Rockets' third center, has gotten consistent playing time recently, including playing the final 7:42 of Monday's one-point win against the Celtics, Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said he still only planned to call on him if he needed an energy jolt. Yet, with the Rockets up by as much as 18 in the first half on Wednesday, he had Harrell check in for starter Clint Capela.

"Just trying to find time and not screw up everything, the rotations," D'Antoni said. "Everybody needs a certain amount of time. It's tougher to play him all the time, but he's responded every time we've asked.
