A day after Mavericks guard Luka Doncic turned his right ankle at practice, Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said his second-year star would miss at least the next six games. He said the next update will be next Saturday.
“It’s real hard to know exactly what the timetable is going to be,” Carlisle said. “Once it gets to be two or three or four days, it becomes a little clearer. It’s obvious it’s a huge loss. A great player. Unlucky for it to happen at practice. We’ll go game-to-game with lineups.”
