Mavericks' Mark Cuban: Move 3-point line back

Whether it concerns the NBA or "Shark Tank" proposals, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban never has hesitated from providing his opinion.

On Friday, he offered a change to the modern NBA game: moving back the 3-point arc.

"It's getting too close," Cuban told ESPN on Friday. "Guys are shooting a foot behind it anyways. ... That's something we should look at. It's worth looking at."

The 3-point arc is currently 23 feet, 9 inches at its crest and 22 feet in the corners. The Rockets have made the 3-pointer a central part of their system, setting an NBA record last season for 3-point attempts per game with 32.
