Luc Mbah a Moute leaves Houston, signs with LA Clippers

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Clippers are bringing back Luc Mbah a Moute on a one-year deal worth $4.3 million.

LMAM will make double of what he earned this past season with the Rockets as he re-joins the team he called home from 2015-2017.

In his lone season with the Rockets, Mbah a Moute played in 67 games, starting 15, averaging 7.5 points per game. He was also a large part of Houston’s newfound defensive identity with Trevor Ariza, both of whom are now ex-Rockets.

He played well in the regular season, but a shoulder injury suffered in the penultimate game of the regular season limited him during the postseason and he performed poorly in the Conference Finals against the Warriors.
