James Harden finally ran out of 3s. The last-minute magic at Golden State was gone.
Harden had brought the Rockets all the way back, hitting the Bucks with a sudden barrage to within a chance to steal a win. But when he missed his final four 3-pointers, the first two with the Bucks clinging to a three-point lead, the rally ended.
The Bucks ended the Rockets 10-game home winning streak on Wednesday, 116-109, with the showdown of MVP frontrunners Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo living up to the billing.
Harden had 42 points with 10 rebounds and six assists.
