Though Kings rookie De'Aaron Fox played one game in his hometown last season, for the second-year point guard, Saturday's game in Toyota Center was much more of a showcase of how he is doing in the NBA.
After playing with the slow pace of a much more veteran team last season, Fox has been one of the keys to the Kings' high-speed success this season. Going into Saturday's game, Fox had averaged 19 points on 50.5 percent shooting and 41.7 percent 3-point shooting with 7.3 assists as the Kings went 8-7.
"It's pretty cool," Fox said of playing in Houston.
