Kevin Porter Jr.'s return can't end Rockets' growing losing streak

New starting lineup, same result Wednesday night, as the Houston Rockets struggled through a 113-99 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies at Toyota Center.

Wednesday's contest marked the return of point guard Kevin Porter Jr., who had missed each of the last 20 games due to a toe injury. But the presence of Houston's starting point guard wasn't enough to end what is now an 11-game losing streak. The Rockets have lost by double digits in six straight games, with their last win came on Feb. 1. Houston now only has 20 games left in the 2022-23 season, a purported campaign of progress in which there has been little silver lining.
