The NBA draft is Thursday, and another one-and-done collegiate star is expected to be the top pick.
LSU's Ben Simmons reportedly has been told by the 76ers that he will be taken by Philadelphia, which would make him the seventh straight one-and-done collegian to be taken first overall.
The company he'd join isn't too shabby: John Wall (2010, Wizards), Kyrie Irving (2011, Cavaliers), Anthony Davis (2012, Pelicans), Anthony Bennett (2013, Cavaliers), Andrew Wiggins (2015, Cavaliers) and Karl-Anthony Towns (2015, Timberwolves) all were picked first after playing one collegiate season. Of those, only Bennett has not made a strong early impression in the league.
