James Harden will have to stop wearing Air Jordans because of $200 million deal with Adidas.
James Harden will no longer be allowed to wear Air Jordans off the court, according to ESPN.
Harden left Nike last month to sign a 13-year, $200 million deal with Adidas. Soon after, Harden was spotted in a pair of Jordans. A big no-no. The shoe company will not tolerant a half-way endorsement, unlike many other brands that hire athletes to endorse products they don’t exclusively use.
When the deal officially begins on October 1, all of Harden’s non-Adidas shoes will be benched for the next 13 years.
