Luka Donu010diu0107 controlled possession after possession Sunday night as he turned in another masterful performance at Toyota Center. Jalen Green didn’t have such a luxury.
The Houston Rockets guard and surging star entered Sunday’s 125-107 loss at Toyota Center on a scoring heater previously unseen in his three-year career. Green averaged 28.9 points per game on a crisp 50-percent shooting in March prior to Sunday, feasting both in pick-and-roll and isolation situations. The first half featured few of either scenario Sunday.
Dallas threw a number of traps at Green as he crossed half court, effectively forcing the ball out of his hands as he faced a double team.
