Rookie center Isaiah Hartenstein returned to the Rockets on Sunday after finishing off his second G League season on Friday by taking the Rio Grande Valley Vipers to the championship. The experience, he said, made him hopeful for more.
"Now, I need to get another ring," Hartenstein said.
"It was fun. I've been down there a little bit this year. Having a bond with the guys made it a lot more fun and then to win it all it was a blast. To be down there helped me a lot in my development."
Hartenstein, the Rockets' second-round pick in 2017, was named the G League Finals MVP, scoring 30 points with 17 rebounds and two blocked shots in the series-clinching Game 3.
