As I said last week, every time this season that the Rockets have made me fear that they're in danger of going on a run, they've risen to the challenge and lost consecutive games. After a two-game winning streak against the Blazers, the Rockets have lost four in a row, including Sunday night's loss to the Timberwolves.
After making the organizational decision to rest their vets, they lost 123-120 on Monday to the Spurs, then lost back-to-back games to the Kings (a feat I thought could not be pulled off), and then after being blown out for much of the night, they used a ferocious fourth quarter comeback (led by Josh Christopher) to close the gap, but eventually lose to the Timberwolves, 139-132.
