Houston Rockets coach Ime Udoka promised an evaluation of his team's starting lineup after the final game before the All-Star break. Udoka's time away didn't result in a change to Houston's traditional starting five.
Udoka said Wednesday he doesn't plan on inserting Amen Thompson, Cam Whitmore or any bench player into the starting lineup for Thursday's game at the New Orleans Pelicans. Udoka noted he believes Houston's sluggish play since Jan. 1—including a 1-5 mark in the lead-up to the All-Star break—can in part be attributed to injuries, with the coach needing more data before benching any of Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks or Jabari Smith Jr.
