If you need a made free throw, don't send a local celebrity to the line.

For the second straight year, the Rockets have had the "First Shot" where a celebrity takes a free throw for charity before each home game. If the celebrity makes the shot, the Rockets give $5,000 to charity. If they miss the shot, the Rockets give $1,000 to charity.

Last season, celebrities made 17 shots in 51 home games. So far this season, celebrities are 11-for-33 before games for an identical 33.3 percent shooting accuracy.

The confidence level varies widely from game-to-game.
