The Houston Rockets players have begun the process of their 2015-16 journey lacing up their sneakers and learning the new schemes head coach Kevin McHale is looking to implement this season.

Some major take aways from his post practice interview were:
- Donatas Motiejunas isn’t even running yet
- Terrence Jones and Patrick Beverley in particular looked fresh (read: they’ve added something this summer and are focused)
- McHale is intent on the players making better quick decisions to produce better shots (we’ve heard that repeatedly so it’s a point of emphasis)
- Ty Lawson was good his first day out and is picking up the concepts quickly
