Houston Rockets' Patrick Beverley traffic stop video released

Video from NBA star Patrick Beverley’s traffic stop Wednesday morning in Pearland, south of Houston, was released to the media overnight.

The Houston Rockets point guard was briefly arrested Wednesday morning on a misdemeanor warrant for a traffic violation. He was released after paying a $321 fine.

The Harris County Precinct 8 Constable's Office said that Pearland Police told them they encountered Beverley on a traffic stop initiated for driving too fast in a school zone, then discovered a misdemeanor warrant for operating a motor vehicle on a toll road when prohibited.

Beverley missed the team's scheduled morning shoot-around on Wednesday while he resolved his vehicle registration and an electronic toll road pass.
