The Houston Rockets beat the Celtics on Monday for their first win over a non-Spurs opponent since early February, though no regular-season victory can salvage what has been a dismal year for head coach Stephen Silas' squad. But a difficult 2022-23 campaign shouldn't completely deter faith in the franchise.
While the Rockets do sit in the Western Conference cellar, they are not bereft of talent, with Jalen Green leading what could be the core of Houston's next playoff team at some point in the next decade. Even without the addition of Victor Wembanyama this summer, this very well be a team on the rise this time next year.
