Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas returned to the team Tuesday night, two days after the death of his father, Paul Silas, who died Sunday at the age of 79.
Stephen reflected on his father's legacy when speaking with the media at the Toyota Center before the Rockets faced the Phoenix Suns. He touched on Paul's reputation as one of the league's toughest frontcourt players during his playing days, though he largely focused on the flood of well-wishers who attested to Paul's personal character.
"I’m very proud to be my dad’s son," Stephen said.
