It’s almost that time for the Houston Rockets. The ballyhooed, red-letter date that all hoops heads look forward to each and every summer is now upon us. The rumor mill is churning out a whole bunch of fodder for us to analyze and project how our respective teams will look next season.
This offseason has been littered with more rumors league-wide than quite some time. There has been a ton of movement and that’s good for the players because they have that freedom to secure the contracts that are in their best interests.
Although the role of the ownership is important, it’s the players that should ultimately have the bargaining power because it’s them that puts the money into franchise’s coffers and it’s who fans that spend their hard-earned money to go see.
