When Gerald Green came to the Houston Rockets in 2017, it was a homecoming for the H-town native, who was immediately embraced by the fanbase for his Houston-to-the-core attitude and sharpshooter personality on the court.
After two successful seasons contributing off the bench for the Rockets, he suffered a lisfranc injury that sidelined him for all of the last season, and it felt like the end of an era when Green was traded to the Denver Nuggets last trade deadline in the four-team deal for Robert Covington.
Well, now that he’s fully recovered from his injury, Green is hoping to come back to the Rockets, as he told Fox Sports’ Mark Berman.
