Thursday's game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Memphis Grizzlies took a sour turn with 5.5 seconds left in the fourth quarter, and it will cost Grizzlies forward Matt Barnes.
The Bucks were up 10 points when John Henson swatted down a bid by Barnes and a double technical was called. Henson, who already had a technical, was ejected and pumped up the crowd before departing down the tunnel. Barnes was given a subsequent technical for using profanity, and quickly ran down the tunnel after Henson to look for him in the locker room.
On Saturday, the NBA handed Barnes a one-game suspension for "attempting to enter the Milwaukee Bucks' locker room and verbally challenging Milwaukee forward John Henson following both players' ejections on Thursday," a release from the NBA said.
