After the Morton Ranch High School choir sang the National Anthem, the Rockets made the mistake of believing the harmonizers would be the second best team on the Toyota Center floor on Friday night.
After trailing by as many as 21 in the second half, the Rockets finally got their act together and defeated the Phoenix Suns, the worst team in the league, 104-103, with a wild fourth-quarter comeback, and capped by a Gerald Green 3-pointer from deep in the right corner as time expired.
The Rockets were off on Thursday when they clinched the top spot in the Western Conference playoffs, courtesy of a Golden State loss.
