Free throws move Rockets' Clint Capela in range of bonus

LOS ANGELES - With Rockets center Clint Capela closing in on the 65 percent free-throw shooting he would need for a $500,000 bonus, he pretended for a moment he did not know how close he was. He quickly revealed he knew.

"It's not over, yet," Capela said. "I'll keep playing and work on my free throws and see where it goes."

Making 75 percent of his attempts in the 10 games prior to playing the Clippers on Wednesday, Capela had improved to 63.6 percent shooting from the line. Going into Wednesday's game, he can make as few as 10 free throws in the final four games without a miss to reach 65 percent and the bonus.
