BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Former Rockets player Paul McCracken was back on the court Wednesday, but this time it was the Superior Court and he was facing criminal charges.
The 64-year-old McCracken, who played for the Rockets for 28 games in the 1972-73 and 1973-74 seasons, was arrested Tuesday night after police said he was loitering in the Walgreen's parking lot on Main Street.
Police said during a record check they learned McCracken was wanted on a warrant out of Stamford, Conn., for violating a prior probation.
According to court records, on Jan. 28, 2014, McCracken was charged with first-degree trespass following an incident at the McDonald's restaurant on Bedford Street in Stamford.
