BEIJING — Former Rockets forward Terrence Jones, whose final two seasons in Houston were sidetracked by a variety of injuries, did not play against his former team on Sunday and is questionable to play on Wednesday because of a bruised right knee.
Jones said the Pelicans doctor will be cautious in the preseason, but that he is happy with the move to New Orleans.
"It's a great opportunity," Jones said. "I'm happy to be in a situation where I get an opportunity to play.
He made the move with the endorsement of Pelicans star Anthony Davis, a former Kentucky teammate who has remained a close friend.
