Former Houston Rockets forward Chase Budinger appears to be thriving in his post-NBA life.
Budinger, who retired from basketball in 2017, is now making waves in another sport. On Wednesday, the 36-year-old Budinger and partner Miles Evans secured a spot to represent the United States in beach volleyball at the upcoming Paris Olympics. Budinger has been playing beach volleyball professionally since 2018, but this will mark his first Olympic Games.
While most Houston sports fans likely recognize the former Arizona basketball star from a three-year stint (2009-2012) to begin his NBA career with the Rockets, Budinger was an accomplished volleyball player coming out of high school.
