When Eric Gordon first signed with the Houston Rockets, he came with a pretty significant injury history. Suffering from various knee and shoulder ailments, Gordon averaged just 44 games per season during his five seasons in New Orleans, so despite his obvious talent, the Rockets took a risk when the signed him to a four-year, $53 million free agent deal in the summer of 2016. I remember a lot of us here thinking it was only a matter of time before his robust injury list began to flare up again.
However, for the first few seasons, Gordon experienced a period of good health unprecedented in his pro career.
