PHOENIX, A.Z. — After Eric Gordon left the Rockets' previous two games when he right leg tightened, the Rockets held him out of Monday's game against the Suns, with Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni citing "tightness and general soreness."
"He'll probably be ready for Wednesday (in Sacramento,)" D'Antoni said. "We didn't have Chris (Paul) against Utah so he had to play that one. We just felt like it was not getting better so we'll try to get it better."
With Gordon out, James Ennis III got his second-consecutive start, the Rockets' 16th starting lineup of the season and eighth in their past 11 games.
