CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Though Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has never announced that this season will be his last, as widely assumed, he said he is relishing the experiences in his final All-Star weekend, from coaching in the Rising Stars game, competing in the 3-point shooting contest and then playing in the game on Sunday after he and Dwyane Wade were added by commissioner Adam Silver.
“I'm getting old. This doesn't get old,” Nowitzki said. “This is great to be here. Just enjoying the stage one more time. For sure my last, obviously, at an All-Star. So it's been fun.
