A veteran of 24 NBA games when he signed with the Rockets this season, Danuel House Jr. has become increasingly valuable for a variety of reasons, from his own abilities and energy to the injuries that led to the move in the first place and have made him a starter since. But Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni cited another quality the Rockets could not have known until he was on the team.
"Sometimes you hit at the right time," D'Antoni said. "We needed bodies. He's a good body. He's extremely confident. And he has the ability to learn in the game or in film sessions.
