The ever-changing career trajectory of Danuel House Jr. – as with the Rockets season -- took another stunning turn on Tuesday with House apparently going from starting for his hometown Rockets to spending the balance of the season with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
The Rockets failed to reach an agreement with House on Tuesday, according to a person with knowledge of the contract talks. The Rockets will shift into the free agent market to find a small forward to help fill out the roster on a 10-day contract, likely adding a player on Wednesday, the individual said.
