A Houston Rockets game against Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers needs no extra hype. Houston fans still remember the playoff game-winner Lillard hit against the Rockets two seasons ago.
But, with the firing of long-time head coach Kevin McHale and the first game of J.B. Bickerstaff happening on the same day, there was a little extra mustard on this game. So of course, the game ends in dramatic fashion in overtime.
Setting up that overtime was Rockets small forward Corey Brewer. Brewer caught a pass from James Harden with 3.7 second left on clock and the Rockets down three.
