The Rockets held Chris Paul out of Friday's game for rest and could look to give other players nights off down the stretch. But Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said it is also still important to secure playoff positioning and that he has to trust players to keep him informed about how they feel.
"We could (give nights off,) but we also need to finish third," D'Antoni said. "We're not like solid there yet. We got to be a little careful. We'll try to do the best we can with it."
D'Antoni said he would not rule out giving James Harden days off down the stretch, leaving it as "we'll look at it.
