Chuck Hayes, 32, averaged 1.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in 29 games (8.8 minutes per game) for the Toronto Raptors last season.
The former Rockets, Kings, and Raptors player was expected to sign with the Rockets for the veteran’s minimum.
