Cam Whitmore poured in 18 points off the bench for the Houston Rockets in Wednesday's 110-99 win over the Dallas Mavericks. The impressive effort marked Whitmore's second-best scoring night of the season. However, Whitmore didn't exactly take a celebratory tact when he met with reporters in Houston's locker room after the game at Toyota Center. Instead, the second-year guard sounded strangely sullen.
"I contributed a little bit, but it doesn't really affect anything," Whitmore told reporters. "Doesn't really, you know, can't get me nowhere, but we'll see what happens, but just glad we got the win.
