DENVER - The first line of Brandan Wright's job description was written from the day he signed as a free agent with the Rockets. He would fill in on the nights reserve center Nene sits out as part of the Rockets' plan to prepare their veteran center for the postseason.

Whatever might develop will be determined, but Wright got his first playing time as Nene's replacement on Sunday in his fourth game since choosing the Rockets after his buyout agreement with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Though Wright, who was only active for one game with the Rockets prior to Sunday's, went through three practices to start the adjustment process, he said he still needed game time to get accustomed to the Rockets' style and teammates.
