FROM KETCHUP AND MUSTARD TO PINSTRIPES: How Rockets' jerseys have changed over the years
Rockets fans think they got a preview of their team’s City Edition jerseys when they appeared to briefly pop up on the Academy web site Friday.
The leak revealed a Houston Oilers look, with Columbia Blue jerseys and white lettering, outlined in red. The name across the chest says “H-TOWN.” The jerseys no longer appear on the Academy web site, but plenty of people got screenshots before they were removed.
Back on Oct. 31, @CamisasDeNBA on Twitter – a Spanish language account dedicated to NBA uniforms – showed off a pair of Columbia Blue Rockets shorts and speculated that it could be part of the Rockets’ City Edition uniforms.
