Jalen Green remains in search of his first All-Star bid in his fifth NBA season. But the former No. 2 overall pick can still flash his prodigious scoring skill on the right night as he did Monday at Toyota Center.
Green torched the Memphis Grizzlies with a career-high 42 points in a 120-118 win. The point total doesn't fully describe the brilliance of Green's effort. The Rockets' lead guard canned five of six threes and made 13 of 18 shots from the field, including a clutch, acrobatic layup to give Houston the lead in the final minute.
