Newly promoted Houston Rockets general manager and first time executive Rafael Stone faces challenges with the current Rockets roster, as the Rockets have $129.3 million committed to nine players, which doesn’t even include reserve guard Austin Rivers, who holds a player’s option.
Stone has expressed the importance of bringing in seasoned veterans on the minimum, and rightfully so, as the Rockets have struck gold with players such as Gerald Green, Luc Mbah a Moute, Kenneth Faried, and Jeff Green over the years.
