When Rafael Stone accepted the general manager role of the Houston Rockets, one thing was clear: he had a lot of work to do. This was especially the case as it pertained to the roster, as the Rockets had two All-NBA players on the team that both wanted nothing to do with the Rockets’ franchise in Russell Westbrook and James Harden, who were subsequently dealt to their preferred destinations.
The Rockets made a litany of new acquisitions, including John Wall, Sterling Brown, Christian Wood, DeMarcus Cousins, Kevin Porter Jr.
