The Houston Rockets are reportedly planning to be without big man Dwight Howard for at least a month due to recurring problems with his right knee, per sources cited by ESPN's Marc Stein.
According to Stein, "sources told ESPN.com that the Rockets, while confident that Howard has enough time to bounce back for the regular-season stretch run and playoffs, fear their defensive anchor will be lost for a period of "weeks" as opposed to days."

Howard is currently getting additional consultation on his knee in hopes of determining the best course of treatment for his ailing knee.
However, Stein's sources indicate that the Rockets have already acknowledged that Howard's recovery process will likely be measured in longer increments of time, regardless of their confidence that he'll return "in plenty of time" for the stretch run and NBA Playoffs.
