United States Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati on Thursday morning gently eased concern that negotiations with USWNT players might not finish in time for the beginning of the NWSL season in mid-April.
Answering questions at a league press conference where a three-year partnership with A+E Networks and television deal were announced, Gulati said he is 'quite confident' a new Collective Bargaining Agreement for the USWNT will be signed in the next two months.
The existing CBA expired at the end of 2016 with a vocal group of national team players seeking wages equal to those of their USMNT counterparts.
