Dash players Nichelle Prince and Lindsay Agnew have been called up to the Canadian national team for the Algarve Cup.
The annual tournament will be played in Portugal from Feb. 28-March 7. Among the competition's 12 teams are five in the top 10 of FIFA's world rankings – Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, Japan and Sweden.
Prince is entering her second year with the Dash. She had three goals and one assist last year. In 32 appearances with the national team since 2013, Prince has six goals and four assists.
Acquired in a trade in January, the 22-year old Agnew had one assist in eight games with the Washington Spirit last season.
